A 15 metre beam weighing 4 tons is in its final resting place to complete the overhead crane installation as part of ‘Project Springboard’. “The operation took nearly 1.5 hrs trying millimetre by millimetre to get the beam parallel and at the right height with a few heart stopping moments” said Dave Bramhall, Production Engineer at PMS Diecasting.
