Summer News update

It´s all happening at CTR – Not twins but new arrivals in more ways than one!!!! Our Fully Simultaneous 5 Axis Machining Centre arrived in July together with the absolutely latest in Spark Eroding Technology Die Sink machine equipped with 26 piece tool changing facility. Plus we are now into Laser Technology for tool, die and component marking. Not only does the headline of new arrivals refer to machinery and plant, we are pleased to confirm we have recruited two Apprentices from Stratford upon Avon College together with two “internal” machine shop trainees who have both successfully completed a 3 month probationary period and can now look forward to a more permanent employment contract with us. The apprentices will continue at College when the new term begins in September. Whilst we have invested well over a half million pounds in the last 12 months, we have ambitious and exciting new plans for more machine tools and expansion of the factory floor square footage penciled in to next year’s business plan. On behalf of the management team at CTR I would like to wish all our customers, suppliers, contractors and indeed our own staff, a wonderful summer - it will have been well earned !! Stop Press !!
